Looks a good trip. I usually tour on my cb1300, but I wouldn't mind getting a mid size dual sport like your tenere locky, bit more compatible going on the rough stuff

Yes it does look a nice trip. Myself and my mate are thinking about doing it next year and just looking for others who've done it before for info/advise.

No Pete it's the bloke i went to Morocco with. I'll be doing it on the Tenere and he's got a DRZ with big tank etc.

I am doing this route or very close to it , starting at Braganca on the 11th May and off-roading all the way to the south of Portugal , then back along southern Spain in and out of the Sierra Nevada , back up through the Pyrenees , on my DRZ , maybe next time on a TTR.  Bob
