My son has recently moved his family over to Spain (on the coast near Murcia) and Trish & I are taking a rare break together to go over and visit them in their new home.
This will be the first time that we have been away together since we started the business, other than an occasional weekend.
We haven't got anyone that can step in to deal with orders and despatch of parts so have no option but to close the doors whilst we are away.
I apologise for the inconvenience but, hopefully, customers can at least plan ahead if they are doing routine maintenance.
I have put this up as a News item on the forum but, so that it doesn't keep appearing when you log in, there is a "Dismiss News Item" option bottom right of the message.
Yeah I hope you have a good trip Brian and Trish, I have to say you must be busy what with the ttr refurbs, and this forum, and totally ttr's, and the faq page, and TRF stuff, and the grandkids! etc etc! 10 days off with two weeks notice is not really an inconvenience brian!
Just a reminder that the countdown has started - not long now until we will be sitting in the sun sipping Sangria in some Spanish seaside cafe eating sheeps' testicles and fish eyes that we ordered by mistake coz we haven't been concentrating in our Spanish lessons
Not seen many motorbikes here at all - let alone a TTR! Quite surprising really considering the weather is normally dry almost throughout the year.
Weather here in Orihuela Costa is not good - only two sunny days out of seven. Actually raining at the moment so playing on the laptop and watching Homes Under the Hammer
Totally TTRs is now back in business! We have caught up on our emails and can start taking orders again now. We are going to use the old web pages for a short while whilst we deal with outstanding orders etc but hope to get the eShop open again very quickly.
It was great to see my son and family in their new Spanish home and the lovely beaches within a few minutes of them. Great place to bring up kids!
However, it is very nice to be back in the UK and to appreciate the "greenness" after the near desert conditions in Southern Spain. Had to put on some extra layers though....
I'm sure they get homesick the same as us! I think we get the best of both worlds, our lanes dry out pretty well in summer. Just the other 9 months they are all mud ridden ha!
Do we need a big link at the top on here for your shop Brian? Or down the side, so if we're looking for some info we can get right on it.
Hi Steve - thanks for the thought but I think that would be overdoing the commercial side of things. The links are in the signature of all my posts and I reckon that's probably about as cheeky as I should get
