Took this image today

Actually 3 images shot with a 24mm lens

stitched together with "Microsoft ICE" and edited in my new photography software "DxO Optics Pro"

Pretty cool what you can do with software these days

Microsoft ICE is free from the microsoft website

but optics pro cost me $200, worth every cent as far as I'm concerned though.

Yeh, I like to geek it up with all this type of software

Problem is it keeps me up at night, hows this one though of my dog

It was a nice shot but he was the same colour as the background

so did a selective blur on the background and then darkened the background

then brightened the dog, seems to work well, first time I tried that

Smart. I bet you are good at doing moving shots on the ttr aren't you? You need a fast shutter speed to capture it clearly don't you

Very good Steve - wish I could do that!

I have Photoshop 7 on my PC and had to use it the other day - totally confusing unless you use it regularly no

Hi Brian, here's my advise concerning Photoshop, find the uninstall button and click it !

then go and get a copy of "Faststone Image Viewer"  faststone.org

It works really well and does all the basics really well and easy and a lot of stuff that Photoshop doesn't do

like batch processing, very powerful and handy, I use it quite a bit.

Hi Steve

Faststone is my picture viewer of choice - use it regularly for cropping, resizing, etc. but I can't see how you can add other objects to an image in Fasstone - is it possible?

I had to use Photoshop to build up a background pic for an eShop I am experimenting with which is a montage of pics of the various models of TTR - see below. Could I have done that in Fasstone instead?

That's the idea Pete.

The current TotallyTTRs web pages have grown to the point that even Trish and I struggle to find parts occasionally disbelief

It is also time consuming to add a new product - convoluted doesn't even come close as a description. I have lots of ideas for new items to add such as front mudguards etc etc but am put off as it's such a faff.

Also I get quite a few emails from prospective customers who have found an item on our web catalogue but haven't found the text explaining how to buy.

We are in an age now where many owners are very internet savvy and if they see something they like they want to buy it there and then rather than having to email us with a list and wait for a shipping quote and details on how to pay.

The sheer volume of business makes our current systems overly time consuming and inefficient and so an eShop seems to be the way forward to allow us to provide a better service to our customers.

I am looking at 1&1's eShop as a possibility as they do our web hosting and have proved very reliable over the years.

Here is an example of a shop using the software that I am looking at. Feedback would be appreciated.

Brian

Good point about image montage, I don't do that so never worried about it, there are a few places online that do it though and make it pretty easy to do

Just upload your photos and download the finished project when done

A new shop would be good, that one seems pretty easy to navigate

I'm sure the "YOUR BIKES" page will get a few TTR images on it from there owners

Yeah that looks a good simple format for a online shop brian, better than the long list with hyperlinks, good luck with setting it up, i look forward to using it!
