Glorious rideout today through dorset's finest countryside!

Today had to be a great day for a decent rideout as the sun was actually beaming for once! and we were nearly in double figure degrees!

We hit lanes at leigh, batcombe, up cerne, cerne abbas, tolpuddle, moreton and corfe castle.

I know you all like photeys so here you go!- smile

It was a tad chilly on the way back but not too bad.
My mates serow is just as good as my ttr off road to be fair, he can even do little jumps really easy on it as its light and doesnt have quite as much suspension travel. I suppose the only thing they lack is the ground clearance isnt quite as high.

Again totally jealous. Good to see people using the TTR for what they were designed. Keep up the good work guys

Mainly because its illegal to ride just about everywhere off road up here. The flip side though is if you like road bikes we have miles of brilliant routes

Oh right, seems strange how a country with so much open countryside, there are no access routes! So do u wack your ttr in a van n bring it south? Yes I have a Honda cb1300 and rode up to Scotland a couple of years back, you do have some nice roads and scenery up there.

Funny

I can hardly wait till it gets down to " nearly in double figure"

Otherwise looked like a real pleasant days ride !

There used to be bings (slag heaps) all over the place and old railway lines that you could ride on but most have been flattened. Now the police are constantly moving people on or giving out asbo's. I just use the OE for commuting or riding down single tracks etc
