It just goes to show the TTR250 can still be competitive in the hands of a good rider. Juan won the trophy in the under 600cc trail bike class.

I have only just found out about this and Juan has given me permission to post up some details.

This is what he says:

For my part there is no problem to publish photos or whatever you want, but please make it clear that

1. I have been very lucky (I'm just an amateur)
2. Our dear TTR can not possibly compete with modern enduro, with a good driver.
3. If you can stand up to the maxitrails.

I do not want anyone to think I'm bragging about anything, but the truth is that I am very proud of the result
It is a rally of amateurs and I was lucky, nothing more .... Very good was spent, leaving behind in the time trial some BMW GS ...

Everyone was astonished (Ohhhhh) I dared to participate in such an old bike, as "outdated" ..... but behaved like a champion,. In the overall time was in eighth place (so yes, the first places were modern enduro bikes that drew me a few minutes ...)
