Just putting this out there to see if anyone is interested.
I have a 1997 Open Enduro in Plymouth, Devon which is currently off the road which I just don't really have the time to get on the road again. It is MOT'd and if the battery was charged it would run but there are the following issues with it that need sorting out.
1 fork seal gone
Cam cover gasket leaking
Temperamental starting problem, button does not always work (completely dead) and sometimes it requires bumping, but it will always bump when this happens
New front tyre required
Engine coughs and splutters at top speed/high revs (could be air filter/box?)
Frame bracket which holds number plate support in place has snapped so number plate flaps around (caused by talentless rider meeting a hedge)
Electrics cable to rear number plate light and indicators broken because of above.
Apart from the above it is dirty, but it is in reasonably good condition with a practically brand new rear tyre, all working lights and indicators, hand guards good seat and tank, reasonably new chain and sprockets, Renthal bars and a recently painted black engine. The bike has been great for the 2 years I have had it and despite the odd little issue has always run and never really let me down. I think for someone with a bit of time and someone mechanically switched on (unfortunately I am not), it will be a nice easy project to get sorted and running smoothly. I am selling it as I have bought one of Mr TTR's own projects now and as I said I don't need this one or have the time to do the jobs myself. There may be other problems you pick up if the bike is viewed, but I have mentioned everything I know about and tried to be as honest as possible.
I bought the bike for £975 a few years ago and would be looking for an offer around £650.
The photos show it with a Supertrap exhaust and Totally TTR's bash plate on it, but I want to swap the exhaust over with the standard one on mine and remove the bash plate before I sell it.

Yeah it is an easy one for someone with a bit of time and knowledge. It is just the cam cover gasket, so not a big job, but with everything else and my little 1979 XL185 still to get sorted the time isn't there for me really.
Looks like I have someone in work interested though, so hopefully there will be another happy TTR rider on the road soon if he decides he wants it.
