Just been shafted by a bit of a t%$$er who I had an agreement with
So,,,, anyone got one for sale give us a shout. I'm in Manchester but will travel for the right one. I'd prefer an OE but not too fussed a long as the right one comes along.
I have a lead on what sounds like a cracker, been told I need to be patient though,,,,,,,,,,,,,,aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Taa mate, and to be honest, the quality of this site, and the hard work and effort put in to give us all this invaluable info, and dedication to the TTR is one of the reasons I'm determined to get one. You can't beat a dedicated forum like this, it's invaluable to new to the bike lads, and experienced owners. [thumbs up]
One other check i would add to the list is the rear shock linkages. get the rear wheel in the air ( can be done by pulling the bike over on to the side stand) , get hold of the ends of the swinging arm and try to move the swinging arm up and down. Any play in any on the linkage or shock bearings will be amplified. Bear in mind there is around £150 quids worth of bearings and a fair bit of work to replace the lot. The cheapest fix would be the top shock mount which you can see by taking the seat off, but even that is around £35 for a replacement bush rather than the £70 bearing from yamaha.
