here is my bike

this was a ucr on the somerset levels

i am new to the forum, loving the amount of pride being shown for ttr's!

i usually ride the lanes of dorset with my friend on his xt225 serow, another great yamaha, ie chetnole area, moreton area, shaftesbury area etc, but always willing to ride other areas too, i am probably going to check out the colaton raleigh/sidmouth area pretty soon as i know theres alot of good orpa around there, highlighted by guru brian smile last time i spoke to him when ordering some spacer risers etc! cheers mate.

looking forward to a few chats

cheers peepz!wink

HeY ken.

There arent really many byways or orpa in somerset so i usually head into dorset which isnt far from me to hit the lanes, the longest being old shaftesbury drove and ox drove which you may have done possibly?, theres a few others near those two too so it makes a good day out. My profile pic was taken on the western side of the old shaftesbury drove
Im guessing you own a ttr?

Yeah they're great bikes, mines really old but I really enjoy it, really comfortable and easy bike to ride, they go a bit too but you have to rev them a bit. Keep changing the oil and they'll go on and on. Mines got over 72000 kms on the clock but I did recently have it rebored, it started smoking quite badly which was probably a combination of valve seals and a large lip in the bore letting a bit of oil by, did the lot and it runs like a dream again.
