TTR 250's in the UK ? How many is there ? How many are UK models ? Iv'e wondered a few times as you don't see to many on the road. I did see 1 last year on the Ridgeway near Marlborough.

There's a website for just that purpose, funnily enough called how many left! Shows how many of any vehicle based on the road tax data I think.

Heres the data for the TT250R which seems to cover newer bikes if you click on the year tab.
www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/yamaha_tt_250_r
But there's also entries for the TTR250 which seems to cover offset ones.

Thanks for that Simon. I don't know if that is high or low.

Seems a good number compared to Honda XR250Rs - see https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=honda+XR250r

I guess the big numbers are in Australia and the USA.

Brian

Thats a good website, there's more than i thought there would be. It's funny that iv'e seen more xr250's for sale than TTR250's, owners must hang onto them.

Yeah that is a good site hey. So if there were 781 ttr's imported just between 03 and 05, the fact that only 300 odd were licensed this year seems a bit lacking??..guessing alot of them been trashed or whatever.
Yeah I reckon people hold on to their ttr's because their a really capable trail bike and boasts reliability, and easier maintenance compared to say a ktm 250 exc.
