Just what i was looking for, a TTR250 forum with plenty info and folk with good knowledge. Iv'e more or less decided that it's a TTR that i want to get as a lightweight bike for local trails. So the hunt is on for the later blue model. Iv'e seen quite a few over the last month or so but now i want one there's not to much about !!

Seems to be a good 'un here but it is possible to get a solid TTR that has had a bit more use for a fair bit less.

Found one biggrin and it should be with me by the weekend. It will need a few rusty fasteners renewed, i'll give it a service and replace all the fluids .

Then theres some nice mods i'd like to do.

My TTR was delivered this morning :). Not in as good condition as in the original pics but still very good for a 10 year old bike and only 3100 miles with full service history, the risk you take when buying a bike without viewing it.
There's the odd bit of rust on the frame around a few of the welds and quite a few rusty fasteners but all easy to sort. I'll enjoy fettling with it over the winter to get it ready for spring.
