Welcome to the forum handshake.gif

Good to hear you are enjoying your Raid. Also good to see some pics of your locality. Very lush countryside.  thumbsup.gif

Welcome to TTR land, glummer.

I like the look of your Raid - especially the gold rims.

The lush landscape looks very tempting too - good areas for photograhy I'll bet.

Are there many trails or tracks to explore?

Martyn

We have the perception here in Australia (and perhaps other countries) that Japan crushes anything over a few years old. :) Does Japan increase costs for older vehicles to discourage long term ownership? Cars and bikes? If so, how do you go keeping a relatively old bike on the road in Japan?

AGman, hi,
I have no concern about maintenace, parts etc.
cause are similar bikes, and demand of used / new parts are also aviable.*yet*
but is true. discourage long term ownership is comun pratice here.
if you gave your old model in change a new one, the discount are significative.
and the old models,(not all) are shipped to countrys like afeganistan, pakistan, china, india, etc.
owners of TTRs no want sell theirs bikes.
thats why my choose.
keep touch.
