Welcome to my advert for my TTR-250. I bought this bike in June last year to get into trail riding, and has been utterly fantastic, reliable, friendly and fun. It's only for sale because I've ultimately decided off-road isn't really for me, and I'm going to stick to road riding!
It has been used for trail riding with the TRF round South Wales, a task at which it frankly excels, happily keeping up with guys on much newer and more expensive tackle. With that in mind, it isn't cosmetically perfect, but it IS mechanically perfect, and has a range of choice modifications, the majority from the lovely folks at totallyttrs.com to further improve it for its chosen task. Modifications include -
*FMF Exhaust, Twin Air Filter and trimmed snorkel, rejetted to suit. *Rear Disk Guard *TotallyTTRs Bash Plate *Renthal Dakar High Bars, with extended clutch and throttle cables (perfect for standing up on the pegs) *Open sprocket cover (stones and other small debris tend to get trapped in the standard one) *Acerbis Hand Guards *Polisport Headlight *Inner tube bag on the front mudguard *Tool bag on the back
It has Michelin Comp4 off-road tyre on the front and a Mitas C02 on the back, both road legal and with less than 100 miles on them, and a spare tube in the bag on the front mudguard. Brand new front pads. Comes with spare levers. It has no faults whatsoever, I'm happy to say you can buy it today, and be out on the trails tomorrow.
