being honest they are petty poor as tools, have you thought about a Bum bag type or fender bag( bloody yankisms) You can put together a better kit and inc the bits you will need like tubes and tyre levers etc.
Most TTRs lost their toolboxes a long time ago. Very few that I come across still have them.
As Bob says, the contents are a bit restricted but it's still very useful in an emergency - except for the wheel spanner
My first realisation about the wheel spanner was on a trail ride and I had a front flat. I found a nice dry layby, took off the toolbox only to find the wheel spanner didn't fit the 17mm axle nut
That was when I got some 17-24mm wheel spanners made up. The original spanner is also very thing and cracks easily on the bigger rear axle nut so the ones we get made are a lot thicker.
Good luck with the search but don't be too optimistic!
it's more for the box that i want really, I have the strap & bottom half of the box, but I am missing the top half!
Used the spanner when assembling the bike Brian, very quality bit of kit. Hopefulyy seeing as I used it to do axles up etc, i should be able to get them off with it too in a pinch!
It's just a handy place to keep a couple of little emergency spares for everday use, commuting to work if needs be.
A full kit will be made up in a fender bag when I get round to it, but don;t want to leave it one the bike all the time :)
