A few pics of some adventure rides with mates in New Zealand - we all have TTRs of course! (well OK, some pics of early trips do have a token Suzuki, but he saw the light and traded it for a TT250 - got sick of kick-starting his old bike in the middle of rivers, can't imagine why).
These first three pics are up the Godley River Valley, Canterbury, South Island.
Really nice pictures but it would be so much better if we didn't have to click every one to look at them. Maybe Brian or Martyn can put them inside the post rather than attachments?
Thanks for sharing!

The other TTR forum members will know range capacities on a full standard tank better than I, but we figure on runs of up to 190-200 kms without spare fuel. For longer trips we take along a one litre plastic bottle of fuel as a top up. This was just enough to ride most of the Rainbow (Jacks Pass to nearly at Rainbow Station and back) for example. We find the TTR's are really good for range compared to many of the smaller tanked "successors".

We rode the Moles/Rainbow yeasterday... went though the lake sedgmare to serven river road that that links the Moles & Rainbow. That DOC have opened up to the
public for the first time this year... It was all very easy almost boreing , But was new ground to ride... Then done Mailing pass before heading back to ChCh...
Lake Sedgemere to Isolated Saddle - great to do a bit of new track for a loop ride! I did not know that access had been opened up - nice one.
The last set of images I posted was of the Rainbow and we also had a side trip down the Mailing Pass. This made a nice change from the long stretches of gravel road of the Rainbow.
Thanks for the link - I know of kiwibiker but have not been there for a while or to the Chch adventure ride link.
