Hi, its seems these are made in Australia ,anybody in the uk has one and would like to part with there B and B luggage rack, i would be interested. Regards
I have one fitted but would not part with it for the world!
Pictured below is a B&B Offroad luggage rack fitted to my TTR250. It is a bit more like ''eye candy'' than an actual carrying rack but still carries enough for me none the less. It also stops the rear guard from being scratched on those embarrassing moments out bush (which usually happens when a mate is borrowing it for the day, never again :).
Notice the B&B Offroad engine guard and frame protectors (I love them)-
There is a UK seller that sells these, can't seem to find a link though.
I too have one of these racks and certainly do not want to part with it!
They are nice and light and very unobtrusive while riding off road.
I slightly filed the metal back on the rack near the seat corner to make a little more clearance, and also filed just above the two tail light screws so it would be easier to replace a bulb. I also put some extra backing nuts on some of the attachment bolts. Make sure that the right front attachment is tight as it also has to keep the muffler on (especially if you are using the heavier standard muffler).
By the way, for carrying luggage using the Giant Loop bag, this seems to be a good rack because of the smooth shape. The Giant Loop "Coyote" saddle bags come with a heat shield to go on the muffler (you might want extra heat tape for protection and you need to work out an attachment point near the pillion peg area for this bag system).
