I am loving this forum!!

I recently decided to stop dreaming of a new bike and start appreciating how great my TTR really is. So I've been spending a lot of time on here over the past two months, learning how to better maintain and uncork the blue beast....or as my friends call it...The Billy Goat, since it will climb just about anything!!!!!

I just read Brian's how-to guide for removing the carb. I never thought to remove the strut support in order to get the air box out, so I've been prying the carb out with the air box firmly in place for years. This has been extremely difficult, especially trying to re-attach the inside breather hose. I was just about to ask if there was a better way of doing this, but I decided to look for a sticky fist. And of course it was there.

I just want to say thanks so much to Brian, Jarrah, and the other folks who invest their time on this forum. If I had to pay someone to do all of this maintenance, I'd have to give up riding because I could not afford it. But beyond how helpful all of the posts are, I have to admit I'm now much more proud ride the TTR. It's a great feeling to take something that's 10 years old, run it through the ringer at places like Hatfield McCoy and Coal Creek (WV and TN, USA), and being able to keep it running good as new. So thanks to all of you for making that possible!!!!

If anyone ever wants to ride in the Southeast USA, please let me know. I live in the suburbs of Atlanta, and ride all over GA, AL, TN, WV and anywhere that looks like fun.
