Hi guys

Ive decided to let my TTR go. This year ive spent all my ride time on my Tiger 800XC and the TTR is just sitting abused in the back of my garageno

Its a 2004 blue plastics model, circa 12k miles, new polisport light and mini indicator conversions. Quite a bit of history, great tyres, bash plate and has just flown through mot today. Oh and tax til june14.

A few bumps and bruises but a solid bike.

Is it worth £1500-1600?

Im going to spruce it up this weekend for some fresh piccies.

This is the ultimate question, Jasper.  confuseconfuseconfuse

The "worth" of your bike simply boils down to an agrrement between you and anybody willing to buy it that satsfies both parties. smile

Good luck in your quest, it's a pity you have chosen to sell it.

A good estimate would be to look on evilBay to see what similar bikes are going for.

There are also many sites giving advice to prospective sellers, try Googling "motorcycle selling value" for a choice.

Glass's Guide for April 2013 shows retail price for a

2003 as £2,050/£2,100 - trade £1,480/£1,530

2004 as £2,125/£2,250 - trade £1,580/£1,690

2005 as £2,300 - trade £1,750

I think circa 1500 seems about the mark. Makes me feel guilty to sell the little fella
