I changed my oil and filter. Took the bleeder screw out to make sure everything was working. Great no issues. Put the screw back in it snapped. Oil leaks from the top. So my question is this would it be easier/cheaper to replace the cover the oil bleeder screw goes into or drill it out and re thread the bleeder screw?
They can be tough to get to work, especially if you've not done it before.
Once snapped the cam cap bolt on a bike and took it to an engineer to get the stub out. He laughed and clicked it out with an automatic centre-punch. Once the head has snapped off there's not as much torque holding the shaft in place and it can be relatively easy to turn out.
If it's snapped way down in the hole and you can't get to the stump you could try getting it as clean as possible and Aralditing something to it and gently turning that.
