Replacement ignition keys and printed workshop manual

If you can't get keys cut locally then Martin at MotoWard will get pucca Yamaha keys cut for you. He needs the number off the ignition barrel though - see http://ttr250.activeboard.com/t50236179/removing-ignition-barrel/

The official Yamaha workshop manual is one of the best. Find someone with a duplex laser printer and print it off.

The cost of printing and posting the manual might be more than if you took it in to your local Staples or Office World and got them to do it for you. Worth making a couple of calls.

They should be able to print from the CD ROM unless the file is locked against printing?

No, the link that Martyn left is for a TTR225 AND XT225. It will be no good to you.

I would suggest to get the real deal as those Clymer or Haynes ones are CRAP! I have the genuine YAMAHA manual in pdf that can be printed with no more than a standard printer (although a duplex laser printer would be best). If you CLICK THIS LINK you will see it is a big manual so a lot of paper is needed. If you want it PM me your email address.

See http://www.haynes.com/products/productID/372

The manual does cover the TTR250 but, like Jarrah says, the Haynes version is best avoided!

It is a bit difficult to follow as the TTR stuff is heavily interspersed with info about the other models no

Oh, yeah I see it covers quite a few including the TTR250. Still, I do not like the Haynes though rip.gifsmile

If you end up getting the Haynes manual, you will need Haynes manual translation that can be found at THIS LINK also. biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Enjoy! wink
