Hello, I am  Kenny from the Scottish Borders.

Thought I had best say hello before I start asking loads of questions.

Just picked up 250 Raid, looks to be an import, made around 93/94 and reg in uk 1999 with 20,000 Km.

Will post pics at a later date.

Starts and runs ok and everything works, just very tired and in need of some TLC.

Looking forward to your help and advice.

Roads are very good in the Scottish Borders, very little traffic and lots of single track tarmac, A708 to Moffat, B6357 towards Kielder Forest, B709 to Samye Ling, Tibetan Centre for a coffee are all very good roads for me on my BMW R1200GSA and should be just as much fun on the Raid.

As for the Raid,  when I eventually make it road worthy, there should ample opportunity for off road skills enhancement.

I'm in Northumberland - when your Raid is ready we should explore some of those trails around Kielder together....
