2007 model. 9000 kms. Only had bike for 3 months so thought id check the plug.
Looks like it maybe the original plug from new. Abit rusty. will crab a new one
and keep it as a spare.
Tweed heads Australia.
looks like a plug from a 1949 tractor - lucky to get it out. One problem is all the 'crud' that sits around the plug, I scrap & vacuum it out before removing the plug as it will all go down the plug hole and will score the barrel.
I was worrierd if i could remove plug as i seen the rust on it before i
tried. It came out easy. My feeler gauges have vanished. The
gaps looks to large. i think its burning well. Bike is original but
had a look for header restrictor and nothing was there. Previous owner
said he had done no mods. 2007 auzzy model.
Brisbane, Australia
Mine came out easy. I would NOT try to take plug out without removing the tank .
make sure spanner is on plug perfect. Ive heard to blow all dirt away from plug
area first.
