A friend and I were able to camp for three days at a U.S. Forest Service Campground that is surrounded by perhaps 1,000 miles or more of logging roads and trails. I thoroughly enjoyed our time riding around. I thought that some of you might enjoy seeing some pictures of the area. For those (few) of you in California, the campground is called Hull Creek, and it is out of Sonora in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The campground is at 5600 ft. elevation and the trails go both up and down from there. The highest elevation we ascended was 8,000 ft.
We are lucky, noeyedear, and I need to remember not to complain about having to cart the bike a few hours to trails. The videos and pictures I've seen of off-road riding in Britain seem to demonstrate that it takes some real dedication and spine to pursue this hobby there. Conditions often seem very challenging. I am in awe of you.
