The 2009 bike that was very rough when purchased was missing the top bracket for retaining the front brake hose. I purchased a bracket locally (Australia) but am I am unsure just how it should be fixed to the triple tree clamp or what a round hole in it is for. Refer to photo.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Glad you got it sorted, good work guys'
Uteman- Could you let me know where you bought that bracket from please? I had to make my own so it would be good to have a supplier.

While you guys were busy trying to help I turned my bike upside (just because it is in Australia where the water goes down the sink by another rotation) so that I had a direct comparison but that didn't seem to help so I tried to nut it out. By the new photo attached I got close! Oh well: It works. Thanks guys I appreciate the help. BTW: Am I supposed to have a bracket on the other side for a flasher lamp?
Not that it really matters but it looks the wrong way around now (even though we are in Australia). The cable holder should be holding the cable away from the plastics. I think Martyn is right and it goes the UK way up :)
The other side does need one for the blinker but it does not need the cable holder support bracket. Rather, it needs one just like it but without the cable holder support.
This was my version of it below..
This was the engine bracket (the one that holds the rear brake reservoir line) before...
After..
The above picture is basically the bracket that you need (without the cut out section) but my version of it.
Where did you buy the left bracket?
Jarrah

The Aussie brackets are for the big headlights and don't have a tab for attaching the headlight. Jarrah needed this as he fitted the US headlight shell so his had to be made differently.
Your TTR looks great Jarrah - excellent job and one of the best and most comprehensive resto threads on the forum!
Getting back to the subject of the brackets, the pic below shows the brackets that are used on the UK blue model TTRs. The white TTRs have different indicator fixings.
I got a few brand new sets - £15 a pair including UK p&p if anyone is interested. They are nearly £80 retail for the pair in the UK

Thanks Brian, wish I could have had the time to make my rebuild thread presentable- it was ''kinda'' rushed but all info needed is there at least. I may make a decent thread for it someday but unsure if it's a good idea? Some of the pic's are missing also so it would be good to be able to fix that.
Those brackets look like they would work for my US set-up? It would be good to not have to use a nylock nut (it's annoying having to hold the 10mm on it). In retrospect I should have welded a nut on there.
