Found this in a shed

Staying with friends I came across this which has 1 owner and has been sat in a shed since March 2010. It needed a small amount of work for the MOT then I added some hand guards, bash plate and a good clean with a service. All works fine and I out and about riding it biggrin

Theres the normal paint missing off the engine and a few bits but its fairly tidy I think.

Fairly tidy? I think your TTR is in exceptionally good nick Mike biggrin

I hope you had a good ride today. My brother and I were out for about 6 hours yesterday and it didn't stop raining for a moment. Didn't spoil the day though wink

That looks to be a very good "shed" find.

Are "shed" finds the modern-day equivalent of the old "barn" finds of long ago?

I think the pictures hide the paint missing from the engine in parts and the frame needs a touch up but its for green laning and after the great ride with the TRF guys on Sunday its going to get some more marks. Im still washing the mud off after I fell off into a rather deep trench biggrin

Sounds like you had a good ride out Brian I hope you enjoyed it. Im really glad I bought the bash plate after Sundays run! Shed finds are like barn finds only cheaper biggrin

Mike and bikerboy,

Go and buy some Lotto tickets. Maybe your luck has not run out and you will score big, again!

...I think I'll keep my eyes peeled for a Shed, Barn, TeePee etc... biggrin
