The ultimate TTR250 headlight upgrade? Another unit is available!

For sale - a rare genuine Yamaha TTR250 glass headlight unit with a powerful 60W/55W halogen bulb. Nearly new - has been installed on a TTR and has some storage marks.

Probably THE best TTR headlight upgrade available!

£125 plus UK shipping. This unit would cost over £450 retail in the UK!

What you get is what you see in the pictures. If you are fitting the headlight unit as an upgrade (rather than a direct replacement) you will need the two fixing brackets that attach to the fork yokes. If you need these, please ask.

Email Totally TTRs if you would like to purchase this unit.

NB This unit will ONLY fit TTRs with mechanical speedo units (driven by cable).

To fit, first remove the existing headlight and the lower mount. Then fit the special mount as below:

Remove the speedo and attach the top mounting bracket:

Refit the speedo, cable and connectors with the new headlight glass unit:

Looks good and greatly improves night driving comfort!

you know what is really hilarious?

this ultimate lighting solution is the standard headlight for (recent) Australian models.
but I bet plenty of people in AU with THIS headlight would just love to "upgrade" to a simple, cheap, lightweight US style headlight.

It almost seems like "standard" is what we don't like.

(I'm sticking with my 60W headlight, by the way - at least until it breaks).

No market for the headlight down under then  biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I tend not to ride at night very often but, with our narrow A and B roads in the UK, we need all the light we can get not to go "blind" every time a car comes towards us wink

actually, there may well be a market down under, given the extortionate prices that Yamaha Australia try to maintain.
eg stuff on Partzilla (ie boats.net) can be one third or even one quarter of the AU price.
(but a modern, non US, 60W/55W headlight would not be available from Partzilla, of course)
