Chain slider on its way out

Quick look at the bottom off the chain slider and appeared like it was wearing through dangerously close to swing arm. Manaaged to remove it for a closer inspection, fortunatly it had not yet marked the swinging arm.

New one required.

Brian are these available as your site appears to direct me to a different site?

Hi Colin

I keep a few spare and can include them with an order for other parts from Totally TTRs to keep postage cost down but, if its just the chain slider you need then, yes, buy direct from Andy who is the importer - see here - there is a PayPal button on Andy's web page.

Well spotted though. If left, the chain eats into the swing arm bearing cap, lets water in and soon the LH s/a bearing goes rusty and needs replacing. As you have found, it is possible to replace the slider without removing the swing arm w

Cheers

Brian

Thanks for info Brian.

As I can not think of anything else I need at the momment I have ordered one off the Link/Andy.

The slider is easy enough to remove and replace from the swinging arm and I would advise anyone to remove it and inspect it properly.
