Why should you be interested in the report I hear you ask? Well, there are a few comparisons to the test rider's companion's TTR325 wink

Robin Webb's 325 (or 315 to be accurate) uses the same Thumper conversion as I have done and is getting big mileage on it with no mechanical issues. See pic of Robin's TTR below:

Hmm ... interesting report, thanks TTRfan. Pity it draws no conclusion on the Yamaha/Honda comparison. no

The TTR seems, at first glance, to be better at trailing than the CRF. I reckon the momentum and weight may be its advantage. wink

Fuel consumption on the CRF seems disappointing, even my TTR gives more mpg. aww

Robin's TTR looks very capable and well run-in. I especially like the tank.

I guess I'll stick with my TTR for a few more decades, anything could happen later though!! hmm
