Hi All... My name is Marty and I live in Brisbane Australia.. Have not been back on a bike for about 22 years. Was back when there were places to ride locally..

Always liked the TTR's all the way from the late 80's.. Was looking for a bit of a project and picked up a 2006 TTR250 that has spent all it's life as a trail bike.. Has had a hard life but was cheap. Plan to strip it down to nothing, replace the frame and rebuild it.. Hopefully one day get it in the bush maybe..

Will get some pics next time a drag it out of the shed..

Looks like it could do with a little work but well worth it. I have a few spare bits & pieces like sec hand seat cover (good condition) $15.00 or near new valves $40.00 or make an offer. Ect. Also have a carb re-build kit here brand new it would'nt be that cheap- $90-00. You it can get the carby kit cheaper by a little if your prepared to wait for it.

Postage for all items mentioned would be roughly $19.00 & get to you in no time at all so have a think about it.

This is the seat cover i will be selling for $15.00. It has a little tear on the strap & a hardly noticable wear mark at the back where it tucks under the seat. Not excatly bright as brand new but still a good cover none the less....

Here is a link to the valves i have for sale.

$35.00 & they are yours with the springs. The springs & valves are still well in spec & have'nt had alot of work. I have double checked these so they are ''go''ers''. Not trying to sell you something just help you out.

$50.00 you can have the springs, valves,& seat cover with postage with tracking at $19.00

Or $15.00 for seat cover & $19.00 for postage with tracking

Merry Christmas!

Jarrah.

It is not a carby ''kit'' as such. I buy genuine Yamaha parts & it is a complete kit (except for the needle set-usually not needed). It & it includes

Top gasket.

Side gasket (o-ring ''special'')

Bowl gasket

Diaphragm & diaphragm o-ring x 2

Diaphragm springs x2

.................................................

To install is easy this article will help Re-building a carb

I also have jets if you want to upgrade your exhaust that i can chuck in for a bit extra (if you like)

..........................................................................................................

I bought new gaurds but if you want to clean them this is how i would do it..

If they are really bad i start with cut & polish using a green scourer to polish. (only if there is no shine)

Once it looks half reasonable. (or if they aldready did.)

Use an old towel & turtle wax to finish off the polishing.

Once polished apply rubber grease lightly for that wet/new look
