Sammy, before lashing out £44 on a gasket I'd advise you to check and ensure that it is the gasket that's weeping.  confuse

Make sure that it's not the rubber bung just above the exhaust/head joint. If that's weeping and making a mess then it's a lot less than £44 to rectify.  aww

If it is definitely the roker cover gasket that's weeping then it may even be possible to remove the cover and gasket and check that the gasket's not broken. If it isn't I would reseal the joint using the existing gasket and a small string of silicone sealer. (Not too much) disbelief

If the gasket is 100% goosed then you need to source a new gasket or get a re-usable used one from somewhere. furious

We sold out the first batch very quickly and are waiting for some new ones to be made up. The guy who turns them up for us on his lathe moved house recently and hasn't got his lathe set up yet. I even helped him move with our van and trailer to try and speed things up but you know what these artisans are like no

He promised this week but we aren't holding our breath!
