Just a quick hello to pop my post cherry. Just swapped my VT Commodore for an 06 TTR250. Since work gave me a company ute the Commy was being badly neglected. I advertised it on a Facebook for sale site and someone offered me a clean swap for the bike. I have not ridden for near on 10 years and this looked like a good way to get back on 2 wheels. The bike has 12,000kms on it and needs a bit of lovin but hey... if you are not out riding who doesnt like tinkering in the shed of a weekend. Got her road registered and back on my L's to go through the licence process again after a long disqualification. Couldnt be happier. Went for a blat around the block this afternoon but will be taking her for a good run over the weekend. Anyone know any good, quiet spots in the Scone area for a non local to get back in the swing of things? Just need to get a feel for the bike.TTR250.JPG

G'day HarleyRigid & welcome to the forum

Can't help with where to ride as i'm in Qld but you may want to see this thread

Acquiring a Queensland Provisional Drivers licence-The fast & easy way click here           It may or may not apply to NSW but they may have similar courses available.

Failing that you could get your licence in Qld then transfer it to NSW?
