Heated grips (symtec) 15% discount Group buy
Permalink

Hello all, with winter around the corner and cold mornings getting colder I have been looking at heated grips and am swaying towards the Symtec ones that are basically just a heat mat that go under the original grips. I have seen some on eBay but does anyone know anywhere else to buy them possibly cheaper and I was thinking about seeing about a group buy to get a bit more discount if anyone's interested. ? These are the ones I have seen on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150512235129?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_6080wt_689

Link seems to be working now, here's a screen shot from eBay as well

Hey mate, just so you know your ebay link doesn't work. I even tried copy & pasting (my favourite :).

Winter is nearly over here so glad it's not our turn anymore :)

All i can say about the heated grips is ya get what ya pay for

The amount you save importing your cheap decent ''Heated grips'' would'nt be alot.

Then you would have to pay customs fees ect.

Would'nt it be better just to buy them in your country, ''say Brian'' & get a decent set?confuseconfuse

Up to you but seems logical to me.

Good luck finding a decent cheap set.

Jarrah.

I'd be interested in a group buy but it's looks like the two of us so far, not sure that qualifies for a discount. Cheapest I've seen in the UK is from Winding Roads

That's where I had seen them too. I will email them and see if they could do a discount for the forum members if there was say five of us interested? I will keep you posted.

I have had an email back about the Symtec pads and it's as follows;

Thank you for your enquiry, yes warm hands a must it was cool this morning.

We can offer you a discount of 15% based on minimum order of 5 and all delivered to one address.

kind regards

Alison

It will work out about £5 off per set after sorting postage out etc

That is a cracking discount Adam - well done!

I can vouch that the Symtecs are excellent bits of kit. Saved my life on some icy mornings on the way to meet groups at the beginning of a trail ride. Also, great if you get your gloves wet plus they allow you to stick with summer gloves for much longer.

I did a quick search on heated grips and saw they were mr ttr endorsed! Hopefully we can get a few more people interested then work out together how to do the deal.
