You will find some really usefull info on the boards,also check out the FAQ eg. http://www.ttr250.com/ if your bored or stuck with something. Otherwize ask a question on here and your sure to recieve an answer.

If you want cheap oem parts check out this site eg. http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/parts.html if you have'nt already. Well hope you get your beast on the road soon.

thnx for all the welcomes. i certinly like the 250. i have rode a few of them just not owned one. i plan on making her beatiful again. its showsing a lil age but nothing serious. i also own a xt 225. i am a member of a site with them also. these forums and some of the ppl on them make these bikes just that much more enjoyable. they can be very helpful and the more pionts of veiw u see them better determination it help to make. thanx again barra!

without a doubt i love both my bike. i bought the xt (06) new. i wouldnt trade it for the world lol. as for my ttr i have just bought and im in process of restoreing it, but i have rode many ttr250 and love it. the dbl overhead cams rock and the bike is a torque factory lol

well i guess this is just my week. pick up another ttr250 for my dad today. figured i could get him out with me some more was another great find. i mite just have stole this one lol. running 2000 model. cosmetic little rough but not to bad. didnt really get to take it out to much as it was late when i returned. and got 3 new tires with the deal 2 rear and 1 front.

once again sorry for the delay on pix but 1 of my bike is my transporation atm and it gone crazy so lots of time running throughg the service manual with it.

this is the 2000

all this one really need is a little tlc and a good tune up.

this is the 2001. i will have the most fun on this 1 as i will be pretty much fully restoring it. im going custom paint and whatnots to it.

sry i had taken a few thing off when i took these as i had got home the nite before with it.
