hi I'm buying a ttr250 '94' bog standard 9k miles ths sat. I am havng trouble with insurance quotes,my bkes reg does not exist on most sites, others say it's a ttr250 from 2001-present ????. I know it's an import. any insurance companes out there???? where do you insure??? any help many thanks Mark.

thanks brian, just done a bike check came up as 2005 model, will check insurance now. cheers Mark

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum!

I think the dates you have are for when the TTR was officially imported into the UK.

I have emailed you a link to eBike who I use. They have definitely got the TTR on their database.

try it a sa TT250R instead...i had the same issue with my insurer...

cheapest e-bike £156 fully comp???? my 03 ducati 748 was only £122 last year..
