Just finished a new tail tidy

Stated out as a 100mm x 100mm x 1.6mm flat sheet

A.jpg

Then mark out and drill in the appropriate places

B.jpg

Put an Rubber Grommet in to protect the cable

C.jpg

Bend it in a vise to about 80Deg

D.jpg

Use the standard TTR tail light, add abit of foam to help keep the dust and dirt out

E.jpg

Assembled, front view, Aussie Number plates are way smaller than the UK ones as you see

F.jpg

Rear View, If you look closely I put some Clear tubing on the remaining threads to keep them clean, easier to remove the nuts if need be.

G.jpg

Used the standard mounting point and drilled and added an extra bolt to stop it moving, you could use a self driller as well, I did at first but replaced it with a gal bolt

H.jpg

Another Side View

I.jpg

All Done, and tidy, out of the way and provides a bit more flying mud protection

Where there's a will there's a way. smile

I bet there are a few riders in the UK that wish their number plates were as small. aww
