Hey Guys

I built this stand over the weekend, took about an hour after I figured out the design

It's made from 6mm x 50mm flat and 25mm x 25mm x 1.6mm square tube topped of with a 200mm x 200mm square of 17mm formply, 2 x m10 bolts and 1 x m12 bolt and a few misc washers

The good thing is you can have it lift your bike to any height you want

See the back wheel is spinning, also good to use for washing the bike, oiling the chain etc

Great idea. For those that do not possess the necessary skills and equipment these work just fine on a TTR and have a lot of height adjustment.

Wow - that is an impressive bit of engineering Steve! Good job.

It gets around the fact that most MX stands are too high to easily get under the sump of the TTR.

Exactly, I set it up so that it just fits under the skid plate and lifts to 385mm of the deck.

Cheers

That's a good price Mark!

I use a similar stand with a damper and its a great "extra" smile

I also have one of those damped stands, and it isn't bad.  On the other hand, it is amazing how stable a stand a plastic milk crate makes (with a couple of wooden boards across the top).  And cost effective....!

Nicely engineered bit of kit, my worry would be stability? The trolley jack doesn't have that large a footprint, side to side.
