Hi All, headlight on my Raid doesn't want to play, I've checked and changed bulb but still no joy, looking through the owners/ service manual etc can only locate 1 fuse (main) is this right? everything else works so am I answering my own question by thinking something like a dodgy connection? and have to clean and scrub away to check them all? working back from light
It didn't happen after a drop or bump so not sure why it just didn't fancy working?
Cheers all.

Shack, do the rest of the lights work? Does the engine run OK?
The main fuse by the battery carrier has to be intact for lights and ignition to work.
The fuse is not placed in a system to safeguard the electrical components. It is fitted to protect the wires of the harness - it stops them from taking too much energy from a short and possibly igniting.
When you think about it - it's a malfunctioning component that breaks the fuse.
Check all the cables, connections and junctions in the wiring harness. Tank off and look at the mare's nest on the top tube. Take all the connections apart, clean and replace with lashings of Vaseline (oo-err )
Similarly check all the connections around the headlight. Look for trapped/chaffed wires around the headstock.
I think/hope you will find the culprit before too long.
Thanks for that, rear and indies all work as they should, looks like a trace back job, shame as was going to dive out on it this pm but will be a tuesday job at earliest. Ho hum. Hope everyone else is having a gorgeous day. Car temp thimgy says 17!
