Front brake pads

i brought a pair of front brakepads few days back when i tried to install them i realized that they are a little different from the ones which are already installed  for example !C!d1d6gCGk~$(KGrHqF,!lkEz+6BE!CSBNDEY!guLw~~_35.JPG

i couldnt find a camera to get a pic so i downloaded a pic frm ebay and edited. but heres what has happend.

assume the one on the left is my old pads means the big pad goes to the left side (weel side) of the disk but in the new one the pad is glued to the left side so the pas will only fix to the right side of the disk. its a brand call 'Daytona' and dsnt look lyk thy'v made a mistake.

so is there a way to fix it or should i exchange it frm da shop?

*EDIT

i found a real pic like that

Left : new pads Right: old pads

This is what the front pads should look like:

Looks like your new pads are mirror images - and wrong cry
