i just finished putting on the 47 tooth rear sprocket. already had a 13 on the front.
took her for a spin round the block and initialy thought that it may be too short in 1st gear. Any thoughts?
reason i put the 47 on was too high top speed. wanted to reduce it a bit and gain more response down low.
would i be better off with a 14 front and say 50 or around 50 rear?
Is just going around the block too short to tell? i hope so.
Any ideas or experience with this would be great.
Oh, and just so you guys know, you can run 13:47 with standard chain, just. right on the limit for chain slack when the snails are set to 1.
