It's too important to risk Andy. I can find you a s/h one.

Haven't managed to find a source of affordable after-market O rings that size.

Hi all, just doing an oil change and found the large 'o' ring around the filter housing has snapped, but can I find a replacement?, the two smaller ones have seen better days as well, but might be able to get these a little easier.

Where have (has anyone) people go replacement ones from? or it is worth just torqueing it up and keeping an eye out for leaks/ oil loss?

Thanks Brian, that would be helpful. Things seem to transpiring against me and the ole Raid, it will be Easter at this rate before I get her dirty again.

The part number I believe is 93210-54175-00 which is also the same as a XT225 Serow. They are available here http://www.xtserow.co.uk/listings/oil-filter-cover-o-ring-132

Thanks Brian and Colin, I was in my local Yam dealer and have gone for new big 'O' and get new little ones as well, cost just under £6 and should be in middle of next week, hope it doesn't snow at the weekend as I currently don't have any oil in the minibeast! and don't want to be missing out on all the fun.

In answer to your question Brian recent issues had been ham fisted tyre changes by moi, stale brake fluid, and then perishing 'o' rings (that and my 3 week old daughter) have all meant the bike has been out of action
