Martyn has pretty much covered it but there are a couple of extra tweaks.

You can drop the fork legs up through the yokes by quite a bit without unduly unsettling the steering. Also the seat foam can be carved to give another couple of inches (example in pic below) plus the rear shock spring can be wound off a bit.

Hi everybody i,m a new member on here, just wanted to no if i could reach the ground with a lowering linkage.? I am 5-6" tall and just abought to purchase 1993 ttr. Cheers  Mike.smile

Hello and welcome, Mike.

It's more to do with inside leg measurement than tallness whether your feet will touch the floor. wink

As I sit on my TTR both my feet are flat on the deck with straight knees - inside leg measures 33 inches.

A lowering link knocks about 2 inches off.
In that case, then, if your inside leg measurement is around 31 inches or more you would be OK. smile

If you're a real short *rse then perhaps high heel boots would be in order - or run the tyres a little flat. biggrinbiggrin

I know of a few short people who seem able to manage so I'm sure your technique will be modified to cope.
