I change mine every 8-10 rides - don't usually bother with mileage, given that the bike is working hard all day when we are out in the Peaks etc.

1.1 litres is the amount to get mine midway up the sight glass and it's a 2003 model.

is 10w/50 semi sync oil alright to use in a ttr

Your selection would be OK to use - BUT it is NOT what is specified in the TTR Handbook.

If you take a look in the FAQ pages HERE you can read all about it. wink

Ive managed to get a 4 litre tub or 10w/40 for £19.99 semi sync, that will do a oil change on 250 and a gearbox oil for kawk 100, 2 spark plugs, k and n air filter cleaner and spray for £25.00
