Hey just wondering if anyone could give me advice one what seals to get my front fork has started leaking a little. Il probably do a full oil change as well. Just wondering what parts I need and what everyone else was using. any particular brand better? Also what oil do people run I'm about 95kg with all gear on and my rear suspension runs on the hardest setting as I prefer I stiffer feel. Thanks guys

I am a heavy guy and I use Silkolene 7.5 weight oil. Some use 10....

Would it be a smart idea running gators and dust seals?

Dust seals are a must and I would advise also running gaiters - or socks.

Which way do the bushings go.. How do I explain this.. Umm the bottom tube of the shock has a bushing on one side it is slightly tapered. The other side has a flat edge. Which one goes up and which down. I might need to take pictures to explain this. :)

Ok got everything back together. Just a few questions the after market dust and oil seals.... The yam oil seal sat underneath the holding clip while the after market on will not so i slid it on top of the metal clip. Is this ok?? Or should I try get anouther one?? Just worried somethig might go wrong. I mean do I need need the dust seal or is it just an added extra layer of protection?

The dust seal should sit under the metal spring clip exactly where the old seal sat. They can be a bit tight to fit and it's best to use some pipe (if you can't borrow a seal driver) to knock it down into place.

I use a piece of plastic rainwater guttering downpipe.

I had anouther look at them and I wonder if they gave me the wrong dust seal. As its got a lip on the outside of the ring that looks like it sits on the lip of the lower shock rather then in it( I'm probably wrong). Is there a pic that anyone has of a dust seal they can up load so I can see the edge of it please.

had a chat and showed my local bike shop... wrong seals so just warning everyone not to buy this kit
