Hello folks, from Hindhead, Surrey

Hi, I have been riding roads bikes for 19-years and the  TTR-250 is my first ever off-road experience.  I bought it back in January, immidtaely joined the TRF and apart from a few local trails and a day out in Wiltshire it has mostly sat in the garage for one reason and another.

Anyway, the little beast was MOT'd today and now that the big V-Strom is practically covered up for winter, its time to get out on those lanes.

If you are in the local Surrey TRF, I did say hello all those months ago, and although haven't met up with anyone yet, hopefully I'll be able to meet up on some trails soon.

This looks like a great forum, and Brian has already helped me out with a few questions re broken headlights (yes, first outing, Grrrr).

Happy trailing.

Paul

Good morning, Paul, and welcome to the forum.  wink

To get the best from your TTR you must get out and enjoy it. I joined the TRF a year ago last August and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the local lanes. The TRF members have all been very friendly and helpful.  smile

Who is the "Brian" you mentioned? confusebiggrin

Martyn

Thank you Martyn and Brian.

The trouble is time.  Working in the emergency services means I work a lot of time when others don't, and therefore I ride when I can, but sadly mostly on my own.  But I will be making a concerted effort to get in touch with the TRF guys over winter.

I did get a sneaky couple of hours in around the local area today and had a chat with a couple of guys on KTM's with wheel bearing issues and then helped out a guy who'd broken down on his Triumph cafe' racer.  So, not always totally on my own.. nod.gif
