Has anyone had to replace the electrics under the seat ? the wirers that are under the seat that run from the rear of the bike to the core appear to have been damaged by wet and mud .

I was curious to how differcult this would be ??

Take the seat and rear mudguard off, power wash the whole area and the old cables if you can. Then go through the cables methodically checking and repairing/replacing as necesary.

If you are making up new cables use the "Japanese" connectors as they will fit into the existing connectors - see http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/terminalsnonins/noninsbullets.php

Sleeving here http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/sleeving/sleeving.php but don't forget to put the cables in the sleeving before attach terminals to both ends wink
