Brett (also from Thailand) got an aluminium plug turned up by a local craftsman for next to nothing. Interference fit that tapped in and a permanent repair wink

My local bike shop and good friend of mine called Tor. took a look at the oil leak and said he fixed a leak like this on his bike with with superlene plastic. he popped out the old plug and measured it for diameter and depth then set his little brother out on his scooter and within the 1hr he turned up with it. He oversized the plug by 2mmin diameter and applied instant gasket sealant and hammered the plug in it has been on the bike for 2 weeks or so and no sign of a leak and it cost me 2 quid gotta love Thailand....YEAHHHHHHH
