Hi all

Bought yesterday a TTR250 2005 in the UK,Exeter.

My first TTR, i need a very light bike for my trip.

Planning for a trip to Sakhalin, Russia following the BAM railway.

So thinks to change, bigger fuel tank, stronger subframe better/ stronger Suspension.

Any tips about the tank and suspension are welcom.

gr Hans

Welcome, Hans and congratulations on your purchase.

The petrol tank enlargement is a good idea but I think you will find the standard subframe and suspension components to be more than adequate.

The standard front and rear suspension components can be adjusted to suit you and your load.

I do believe it's possible to fit the front forks from a WR more or less directly, but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along to guide you. confuse
