A fantastic days riding today (Sunday) was had at Hazelwood Farm, near Paignton in Devon where I was able to try 2 things for the first time.
First, a ride off road on Brians TTR325 which proved every bit as good as I hoped it would be. Mine should be 'converted' in a week or so
Then, a lap with a pillion, sorry it's a bit blurry, if a better pic shows up in the next few days i'll post it
Fortunatly my pillion was fairly small, there's not an awful lot of room for 2 on a TTR
This circuit is one we do every year. It is approx 2.5 miles of fields, woodland tracks streams, hills, roots & rocks and is fast in parts, technical & tricky in others.
Finally, someone took this one of me on my own TTR
The white square lunchbox on the handlebars isn't in case I get hungry, it holds my sat nav when i'm riding the lanes
There were plenty of people out with cameras and quite a few TTR's so more pictures will be added, i'm sure.
You're looking a little apprehensive in the last picture, Steve. You weren't suffering a slight tightening of the sphincter, were you?
Your badger looks happy enough though.
I bet you are now even more eager that your 325 conversion is completed soon. To get complete satisaction I presume you will be filling the white box with ample supplies of pasties!
Definitely need to eat more pies to keep the front wheel down on the mighty 325 Cubber
My bro' Trev and I trailered our TTRs to the event and there is a pic below of our machines before we tackled the course. We are hoping that we will get some action shots soon bearing in mind how many photography students there were taking pics around the course
A couple more pics taken by the students. The first is me on my brother's TTR riding a very off-camber bit of grassland and then my brother on SteveH's TTR going through the water splash. A great day and nice to swap bikes to compare.
