A forum for owners of Yamaha TTR250 trail and enduro bikes!

Hi all, I'm Gerry and live on the Northern outskirts of Cairns, in Far North Queensland, Australia. I've had my '01 TTR250 for a few years, but do not ride much, due to having a young family. Of course I am keen to do more riding, if there's anyone local, just reply to this post or send me a pm. I would describe my ability on the bike as amateur, and am happy just to 'potter' about. Definitly not into supercross.

My TTR250 has a long range tank and I have changed both sprockets to give me better offroad ability, along with an aftermarket exhaust. I really like the bike for its benign handling, offroad ability, simplicity, lack of weight and ruggedness. Overall an excellent package for the bush around here.
