Hi,

Welcome to the sale of my 1997 TTR250 OE.

I have owned this bike since April 2013 and have used it regularly for green laning down here in Devon as an active member of the TRF and other local groups. I've decided to finally sell having ridden a friends Beta X Trainer!

Recent maintenance:
Today: Renthal R3 Chain and sprockets (14/52 correct for laning), the rear could be changed to a 48 if road riding. Front brake pads.

April: Rear brake pads and wheel bearings both ends. Valves checked and adjusted.

Tyres fitted are rear Pirelli MT43, which is quite new and on the front is a Maxxis IT Pro which still has a bit of life left.

Apx 6 months ago, sprag clutch and the larger gear (so no nasty bangs) and also cam chain because I was convinced I could hear a rattle (the old one was fine).

About 2 years ago: Rebore +0.5mm and new piston.

For those that don't know, The TTR has a nearly cult following due to reliability, reasonably low weight and sufficient power for us mere mortals. A massive bonus is that all parts are easily available and an excellent forum from Steve at TotallyTTRs.

Poly sport hand guards.
MOT until May 2019, the only advisory was front and rear wheel bearings, which were replaced about an hour later!

The phone holder on the bars and charging system are not included.

Located in Okehampton, Devon

ps Comes with standard exhaust

Suspect you've picked the wrong time to sell - people about to spend money on holidays, or are away on holiday already.
Good luck with the sale,
Simon.

Definately seems that way. 56 watchers on ebay and no views. Sensible price and ready to.go.

But timing may be in my benefit for buying so ok on balance.
