I would love to have a trials bike as well but I could be pushing things a bit, I was thinking I might do alright as I am pretty good at picking a line but perhaps one day when I grow up.

It's really good to see young kids both male & female out riding bikes using skills in the open air, also with the electric bikes becoming more common this is an ideal sport for electric.

Was talking to one of the sponsers (dad) about the electric bikes & he said they are hard to ride as they are very jerky on the throttle...I have several RC cars & it's possible to calibrate the drive control, this is also done with EFI in different maps so I'm sure they will improve this over time, I did notice the huge amount of wheelspin from one bike, electric motors produce max torque at just above zero RPM.

Cheers Terry

Years ago back in the 70's my mate bought a BSA Victor 441....if only we knew what we know today !!!!

Hope you guys don't mind photos from a far off place & not including a TTR , I live only 7 minutes from the dirt so pretty easy for me, the trials was 1 hour from my place on the dirt & that was the long way round, another reason I'm out most weekends on the dirt.

Cheers Terry

Cheers, sometimes I think I might be hogging to forum a little, we can ride all year round here so I do get around a fair bit.  When the Thruxton runs out of rego in two weeks I might get the TTR back out for a few runs

Go for it Terry!

There is so much information now on the stickies and FAQ that most owners can sort out their issues without posting questions so the forum has gotten steadily quieter over the years (despite still getting thousands of views) so it's nice to have somewhere to share other bike-related topics.

Looking forward to seeing more of other members non-TTRs wink

Brian

PS I tried trials but just haven't got the skill set required cry

Looking good, remember plenty of photos of Steve McQueen on the Rickman, lovely bike & I'm sure the BSA / sidecar will be outstanding as well
